Chapter One
Caterpillar creeps,
searching for a secluded twig
where her drama
can unfold.
Chapter Two
Caterpillar spins a cocoon—
its snug study
to better imagine
wings and flight.
Chapter Three
Caterpillar is gone.
A new character—
Moth—flutters about
the sunlit page.
